Travertine: New beginnings, purification, confidence.

A form of sedimentary limestone mined from deep hot springs, the ochre-white coloured stone is linked to new beginnings, new relationships and new ventures.
Often used as tiles, bench tops and building materials in Italy, having a piece near doorways and entrances is thought to bring a light energy to those entering your home. The darker coloured stones tend to have a higher iron content making them good grounding stones.
